Gorman-Rupp has a range of dirty water pumps to handle a wide variety of effluent types, flows and pressures. Their Super U Series pumps are sought when high efficiencies are required, and Super T and Ultra V Series pumps when large or stringy solids may be present.
Being self-priming pumps, operators can access them safely for monitoring or maintenance without the need for cranes or exposing operators to working at heights or working with heavy swinging weights.
EDUR self-priming pumps are the choice when very high heads are required [their “SU series”], or if self-priming is not necessary [their “FUB Torque Flow Series].

Gorman-Rupp Super U Series
Super U Series self-priming pumps come equipped with multi-vane impellers to deliver high efficiencies and high pressures [to 60 metres]. These pumps are offered in two versions. The “A Version” offers higher efficiencies and better NPSH characteristics. The “B Version” offers the convenience of a removable cover-plate to allow operators to access pump internals without removing any piping.
Super U Series pumps have oil-lubricated, hard-faced mechanical seals, a removable rotating assembly, external “shim-less” internal clearance adjustment, and dual bearing protection. This delivers a pump that is more reliable, easier to maintain and longer lasting than most other pumps.
These pumps are available in 3 sizes [3”, 4” and 6”], with flows to 70 litres per second [L/s] and heads to 60 metres.
Gorman-Rupp Super T Series
Super T Series self-priming centrifugal pumps come in several versions. A, B, C, D, E and F versions, with B, D and E versions being the most efficient, and A, C and F versions used for larger solids-handling applications.
These pumps are capable of operating on suction-lifts up to 7.6 metres, making them truly viable options to the “default” submersible pump.
Super T Series pumps boast some of the lowest lifecycle costs in the industry. The quality manufacturing and testing that goes into every Gorman-Rupp product, means asset owners benefit from minimal service interruptions and some of the lowest maintenance in the industry.
Super-T Series pumps come with all the features of the “Super U”, but with larger solids handling capability.
These pumps are available in 6 sizes [2”, 3”, 4”, 6”, 8” and 10”], with flows to 200 L/s and heads to 35 metres.
Gorman-Rupp Ultra V Series
Built upon the foundation of the Super T Series, Gorman-Rupp Ultra V Series pumps are the most advanced self-priming centrifugal pumps available today. The pumps are the safest and easiest to maintain of any other wastewater or effluent pump.

These pumps have solids-handling impellers, unmatched safety and maintenance features and are available with a 2nd stage for higher head applications.
These pumps are available in 3 sizes [3”, 4” and 6”], with flows from 10 to 100 L/s, and heads to 95 metres.
Diesel Driven Pumps [T and V]
Gorman-Rupp Super T and Ultra V Series pumps are also available as diesel driven units, skid or trailer mounted. Their simple and reliable priming systems make them an ideal choice for dewatering applications where mains power is not available.
The engine driven versions of these pumps are equipped with SAE housings to positively mount to the diesel engine housing, eliminating coupling misalignment. They are mounted onto Hydro Innovations’ purpose designed skid platforms. These come equipped as standard with fork lift pockets, central lifting frames, large[450 litre] fuel tanks, and anti-vibration mounts.
These pumps do not rely on “add-on” priming systems, so are much simpler and more reliable. No air separation chamber, prime-pump, compressor or non-return valve to be relied upon. This makes them ideal for unattended operation, including priming and re-priming on liquid level controls.
EDUR SU Series Self-priming Pumps
EDUR SU Series self-priming pumps are the best choice when heads are high. These pumps are able to pump slightly contaminated water, cooling water, emulsions, oils and fuels such as kerosene, petrol and diesel.
EDUR is a German manufacturer of high-quality centrifugal pumps, and has been manufacturing since 1927. Multi-vane impellers are cast, machined and hand finished in their manufacturing facility in Kiel, where all pumps are assembled and tested.
Pumps are available in a variety of materials including cast iron, bronze or ductile iron [depending on the model]. Advantages include:

EDUR FUB Series of straight centrifugal pumps are an economical choice when self-priming is not necessary. They are close-coupled pumps with recessed impellers, compact, but capable of passing solids up to 80mm in diameter. They are used in water, wastewater and industrial applications and available in cast iron or stainless-steel construction materials. They are often chosen for their efficiency, economy and reliability. They have the following features:-
