Pumps are able to be fitted with the customer’s choice of engine or with one of the engines held in inventory by Hydro Innovations. Controls can be as simple or as complicated as required, and skid bases can be one of the rugged heavy-duty ones held in stock by Hydro innovations, or bespoke to suit customer needs.
Self-priming [wet-prime] and Prime-assisted [Dry-prime] options are available, as well as a variety of materials of construction to suit standard, abrasive, or corrosive pumped media.
Pumps can be mounted on open skids, on road registerable or site wheeled trailers and also into acoustically rated enclosures.

Super T Series
Gorman-Rupp Super T Series pumps can be direct coupled to diesel engines via an SEO flange, perfectly aligning pump and engine. These pumps can prime to 7.6 metres and can pass up to 76mm spherical solids, enabling them to handle all sorts of trash, including raw sewage and sludge.
They are available in a variety of materials, including cast iron, hardened iron, SS316 or CD4MCu [a duplex stainless-steel]. They can also be fitted with “rag-handling” technologies such as Gorman-Rupp’s “Eradicator” and “Eradicator Plus” enhancements.
Super T Series pumps are available in sizes 2” through 10”, with flows to 200 L/s and heads to 40 metres. Pumps can be supplied on open skids, trailer mounted and in acoustically rated enclosures.
Ultra V Series
Like the Super T Series, Ultra V Series pumps can also be direct coupled to diesel engines via an SEO flange. They can also prime to 7.6 metres and can pass up to 76mm spherical solids. Ultra V Series pumps are the most efficient solids handling “wet-prime” pumps on the market, and can produce heads to 50 metres and flows to 110 L/s.
Ultra V Series pumps are available with a variety of internal [impeller, seal plate, and wear plate] materials to enable them to handle some abrasive and corrosive media.
Ultra V Series pumps are available in 3”, 4” and 6” discharge sizes and can also be fitted with Gorman-Rupp’s “Eradicator Solids management System” to enable the pumps to handle stringy materials such as rags, wet wipes, feathers, rope etc.
Pumps can be supplied on open skids, trailer mounted and in acoustically rated enclosures.
PA and PAH Series
Gorman-Rupp’s PA and PAH Series pumps are “Prime-Assisted” pumps, having a compressor-venturi priming system, with some pumps available with diaphragm pump priming systems. These pumps are coupled to engines via and SAE flange and flywheel coupling, and they can operate on suction lifts to 7.6 metres.
PA and PAH pumps are available with discharge sizes from 3” through to 16”, with flows to 940 L/s and heads to 180 metres. They have an oversized oil lubricated seal to allow pumps to run dry continuously without damage, making them ideal for priming long suction lines or for operating on “snore”.
Pump construction is cast iron, with some models available in CD4MCu construction for corrosive/abrasive applications.
Gorman-Rupp self-priming and prime-assisted pumps are available with acoustic enclosures. To enable them to operate in noise sensitive environments. Standard units have a sound attenuation rate of 70dB(A) at 7 metres, with bespoke units capable of quieter ratings.
Pumps can be built as portable as portable units on road registerable trailers, or can be supplied for fixed installations such as emergency sewage bypass service.
Mobile units can be equipped with controls to enable them to act as temporary pump stations, capable of stopping and starting on liquid levels.
Permanently installed units are a good choice to replace generators as emergency sewage pumping at sewage pump stations. Emergency pumps stop and start on liquid level, so they don’t need to run continuously during a power outage. They also have the added advantage of offering pumping capability if electric pumps, controls or anything else fails at the pump station.
Gorman-Rupp has a wide range of utility pumps. These include:-
- Small petrol and diesel driven portable pumps for construction and site dewatering and “mopping -up” duties. Available in 2”, 3” and 4” sizes, with flows to 35 L/s and heads to 40 metres. They are also available as solids-handling versions and “Shield-A-Spark for pumping volatile liquids.
- A 12V submersible for small dewatering applications.
- A viscous liquids drum pump to dose oils etc from drums.
