The EDUR range of Multistage Liquid Gas (LPG) pumps can deliver flows to 45 l/s and pressures to 14 bar (to go to 90 l/s and 40 bar in the not too distant future). These technically superior pumps deliver high efficiencies, low noise levels, low NPSH and reduced axial and radial forces. They also offer less wear than sliding vane pumps and higher efficiencies than side channel pumps. Pumps are ideal for transfer systems and for loading and unloading ships, rail cars, trucks etc.

Motors are 2 pole with IP55 enclosures, and insulation class F and conform to ATEX 94/9/EC. Advantages include:

Advantages include:

  • Nodular Cast Iron or All Stainless Steel construction
  • Able to handle liquid-gas mixtures (outgassing)
  • Flows to 45 l/s (soon to double)
  • Heads to 23 bar (soon to go to 40 bar)
  • Handle temperatures from -40oC to 110oC depending on model
  • Balanced Single and double mechanical seals available as well as magnetic coupling

Motor options include:

  • ATEX 112G EExe llT3
  • ATEX 112G EExde llCT4

Certificates and Reports include:

  • Declaration of conformity according 94/9/EC (ATEX)
  • Gost-R Certification
  • Test Certificate DIN EN 10204 – 2.2
  • Acceptance Test Certificate DIN EN 10204 – 3.1

The Gorman-Rupp Roto-Prime range of self priming centrifugal pumps is specifically designed for pumping petroleum products, petrochemicals and solvents. The Roto-Prime fuel pump incorporates a variable capacity vane [priming] pump which quickly and automatically evacuates air and vapour from suction lines, making them ideal for loading, off-loading transports and stripping hoses.

Advantages include:

  • Ability to mount high and dry above the liquid source
  • Eliminates vapour lock or air lock in suction lines
  • Easy access for monitoring or service

The Gorman-Rupp VG and VGH Series range of standard centrifugal pumps come in two styles. A general purpose style (VG) for clean liquids and a heavy duty style (VGH) for clean petroleum fluids as well as dirty water and mild abrasives.

The VG centrifugal pump has a cast iron casing and impeller, whereas the VGH centrifugal pump has a ductile iron casing, cast iron impeller with replaceable iron wear rings and a tungsten carbide/silicon carbide cartridge type mechanical seal with fluorocarbon elastomers.

Advantages include:

  • High efficiency
  • Ethanol capable [with a seal upgrade]
  • Low lifecycle costs
  • Hand primer kit available in some centrifugal pump models

The Gorman-Rupp 80 Series range of self priming centrifugal grey water are heavy duty 24/7, quick priming “work horses” for industry. With multi-vane impellers and a “straight-in” suction design, the 80 Series pumps deliver high efficiencies and quick positive self priming.

Advantages include:

  • Ability to mount high and dry above the wet well [not in it]
  • Capital cost savings over wet well/ dry well constructions
  • Low cost of ownership
  • Greatly reduced OH&S issues
  • Easy access for monitoring or service

The Gorman-Rupp O Series pumps were originally designed for handling petroleum products. Later, O Series pumps were introduced into the industrial market for effective handling of solvents and similar liquids, as well as excellent clean liquids handling. The straight-in-suction design without a check valve eliminated entrance restrictions provides quick, reliable self-priming with few moving parts offering saving through minimal maintenance and increased efficiency. The O Series has a variety of seal configurations to choose from allowing it to handle a number of different liquids.

Advantages include:

  • Capital cost savings over wet well/ dry well constructions
  • Low cost of ownership
  • Easy access for monitoring or service
