The Gorman-Rupp Super T Series self-priming dewatering pump has been the world benchmark for this technology since 1963 (>55 years). These engine driven pumps are direct coupled to diesel engines through flexible flywheel couplings to ensure perfect alignment between pump and engine. These are mounted onto our “engitank” platform. This platform includes an extra heavy duty fuel tank base with a 450 litre capacity, lifting points on 4 corners, fork lift pockets, and a central lifting frame. A sheet-metal roof is provided to help protect the engine from the elements.

The centrifugal pump is constructed of stainless steel, so may be used to handle a variety of liquids. Designing pumps since 1927, EDUR Pumpenfabrik has developed a range of pumps for use in refrigeration systems. Proven Solution For Tough Application

A NSW council has just upgraded their vacuum sewage system transfer pump. They were using a lobe pump to transfer raw sewage from their vacuum tank to their sewage treatment plant, but the need for continued maintenance on the pumps was causing cost and logistics issues.

The council had heard of the success the Bundaberg Regional Council had when changing their Lobe Pumps to Gorman-Rupp Ultra VS Series two-stage self priming pumps.

Venturi Aerator helps WWTP comply with Dissolved Oxygen Requirements

As part of an upgrade to a rural WWTP plant, a revised permit required them to maintain a >6.0 mg/L level of dissolved oxygen [DO] in the effluent discharged, because it flowed into an adjacent stream. This effluent contained almost no DO due to the dechlorination process. To comply, the engineer selected a Venturi Aerator [VA] to add the required oxygen.
