Introducing the Gorman-Rupp 6400 Series™—a line of cost-effective, solids-handling end suction centrifugal pumps, for municipal, industrial and mining applications.

Designed to manage everything from clean liquids to tough, solids-laden wastewater and sludge, the 6400 Series has many interchangeable parts with Gorman-Rupp’s rugged Super T Series range of trash pumps.

Maximum Versatility

6400 Series end suction centrifugal pumps are based on the proven components and technology of Gorman-Rupp’s Super T Series self-priming centrifugal pumps.

Heavy-duty two-vane solids-handling impeller made of ductile iron, designed for wastewater management, featuring a semi-open structure to minimize blockages and enhance durability.

Standard & Vortex Impeller Options

Standard models feature a variety of impeller options for solids-handling or higher efficiency operation. These pumps can also be equipped with the Eradicator or Eradicator Plus solids management technologies for dealing with tough, stringy solids.

Vortex models can be equipped with straight-vane or winged-vane impellers depending on the liquid being pumped.

Patented cartridge seal for Gorman-Rupp Ultra V Series pumps, featuring double-floating design and silicon carbide faces for enhanced durability in abrasive applications.

Cartridge Seal

Exclusive double-floating, self-aligning, oil lubricated mechanical cartridge seal with stationary and rotating face of silicon carbide or tungsten titanium carbide is specifically designed for abrasive and/or trash handling service. Consult the factory for additional seal configurations.

Removable rotating assembly of Gorman-Rupp Ultra V series pump, featuring a robust design for efficient solids handling and maintenance.

Interchangeable Rotating Assembly

The entire rotating assembly* can be removed without disturbing the pump volute or piping. This allows for quick and easy installation of a spare rotating assembly, resulting in maximum uptime. 6400 Series pumps have rotating assemblies interchangeable with the Super T Series range. *Rotating Assembly not interchangeable on 3” models.

Gorman-Rupp 6400 Series solids handling pumps are the Ideal choice to replace dry-well submersibles with expensive motors.

Pump industrial wastewater, raw sewage, and sludge. Use “Eradicator” or “Eradicator Plus” technology if pumped media contains stringy materials such as rags, wet-wipes or rope.
