Gorman-Rupp T Series and Super T Series self-priming centrifugal pumps have been successfully pumping municipal and industrial wastewater for over 5 decades. Over the past few years, with the introduction of wet-wipes and higher safety standards, the need for “choke-free” pumping has led to the development of pumps able to handle wipes, rags, rope, undigested hay and other stringy materials better.
Introducing the Eradicator Plus, for those extreme-duty applications where debris like trash bags, wipes, mop heads, rags, hair, industrial by-products, and agricultural wastes are present. Specifically engineered for cutting and tearing organic solids that enter the pump, the Eradicator Plus is Gorman-Rupp’s most aggressive solids-handling pump.
The Eradicator Plus is equipped with a continuous vane impeller in hardened iron, and an extra-thick G-R Hard Iron wearplate which is equipped with an oversized lacerating tooth that is designed to cut and shred organic solids before they enter the interior of the pump.

Lismore City Council
The Lismore City Council sewage pump would choke on a daily basis during its job of turning over the digester. They were using a Gorman-Rupp T3A3S-B self-priming pump, but the sheer number of rags made it very difficult for even this excellent solids-handling sewage pump to pass all the rags, all the time.
The new Eradicator system was retrofitted to the existing Gorman-Rupp T3. The sludge pump then ran for 3 months without a single choke. In the same period, they would have expected to have between 12 and 24 chokes. Matt, Brad and their colleagues at the council were very pleased with the result.

Continuous Vane Impeller
The Eradicator Plus is equipped with a continuous Vane Impeller in hardened iron, and an extra-thick Gorman-Rupp Hand Iron Wearplate. Both parts available in optimal 600 BNH material.
Patented Cartridge Seal
Gorman-Rupp’s double floating, self aligning, oil-lubricated mechanical seal is specifically designed for abrasive and/or trash handling applications. The silicon carbide faces and extra large seal oil chamber provide superior dry-run capability. The patented cartridge design also allows for accurate and easy installation.
Removable Rotating Assembly
Gorman-Rupp Super T series pumps are designed with a removable rotating element. This assembly can be removed and replaced in minutes without disconnecting piping or disturbing motor alignment.
Removable Cover Plate
A patented, lightweight [under 10kg] inspection cover allows for faster and safer access to the impeller without the need for a lifting device.
