Gorman-Rupp T Series and Super T Series self-priming centrifugal pumps have been successfully pumping municipal and industrial wastewater for over 5 decades. Over the past few years, with the introduction of wet-wipes and higher safety standards, the need for “choke-free” pumping has led to the development of pumps able to handle wipes, rags, rope, undigested hay and other stringy materials better.
Introducing the Eradicator Plus, for those extreme-duty applications where debris like trash bags, wipes, mop heads, rags, hair, industrial by-products, and agricultural wastes are present. Specifically engineered for cutting and tearing organic solids that enter the pump, the Eradicator Plus is Gorman-Rupp’s most aggressive solids-handling pump.

Designing pumps since 1927, EDUR Pumpenfabrik has developed a range of pumps for use in refrigeration systems. They have been designed to provide a maximum level of safety, reliability and efficiency. They are the safe option because they use standard TEFC motors, which don’t need to be cooled using the pumped media. They are efficient because they use magnetic couplings. By using magnetic couplings energy is not wasted by pumping fluid over the motor [as with “canned motor pumps”] and back through to the separator.

The Gorman-Rupp Self Cleaning Sump (SCS) is a revolution in wastewater pump station wet well design. The SCS is an easy to install sloping collector pipe (fabricated from heavy duty HDPE) that is directly connected to the control manhole, and used in conjunction with Gorman-Rupp self priming sewage pumps.

The Self Cleaning Sump has been designed to replace the conventional cylindrical wet well and to remove the flaws associated with this current design. The negatives of the conventional design are considered to be the amount of intervention (number of personnel per call and the number of calls) required with these stations, the risks to operators associated with accessing the wet well for blockage removal and maintenance, and the longevity and reliability of equipment.

The aim of the SCS design is to:

  • Eliminate blockages caused by the build-up of rags and stringy matter
  • Eliminate sediment build-up
  • Eliminate fat and grease build-up
  • Eliminate air entrainment
  • Reduce energy consumption
  • Greatly reduce blockages in pumps
  • Greatly reduce maintenance costs
  • Reduce civil costs
  • Used in conjunction with Gorman-Rupp Ultra V Series and Super T Series Grey Water Pumps

The Gorman-Rupp PAH Series of prime assist (also known as dry prime or auto prime) centrifugal pumps are capable of delivering high heads and/or high flows for applications from wastewater bypassing to mine dewatering.

Field adjustable running clearances mean this pump can be kept at peak efficiency and left in the field for longer (instead of having a trip back to the workshop for a wear ring change).

Advantages include:

  • Ability to mount high and dry above the water (not in it)(to 7.6m)
  • Low cost of ownership
  • Greatly reduced OH&S issues
  • Easy access for monitoring or service
