The Gorman-Rupp Super T Series pump with Eradicator™ Solids Management System are a series of self-priming centrifugal pumps designed specifically for handling municipal and industrial wastewater containing stringy, difficult-to-pump, solids in suspension (such as wet wipes, rags and feathers).

Gorman-Rupp T Series and Super T Series self-priming centrifugal pumps have been successfully pumping municipal and industrial wastewater for over 5 decades. Over the past few years, with the introduction of wet-wipes and higher safety standards, the need for “choke-free” pumping has led to the development of pumps able to handle wipes, rags, rope, undigested hay and other stringy materials better.
Introducing the Eradicator Plus, for those extreme-duty applications where debris like trash bags, wipes, mop heads, rags, hair, industrial by-products, and agricultural wastes are present. Specifically engineered for cutting and tearing organic solids that enter the pump, the Eradicator Plus is Gorman-Rupp’s most aggressive solids-handling pump.
The Eradicator Plus is equipped with a continuous vane impeller in hardened iron, and an extra-thick G-R Hard Iron wearplate which is equipped with an oversized lacerating tooth that is designed to cut and shred organic solids before they enter the interior of the pump.

Gorman-Rupp engine driven pumps can be mounted into acoustically rated enclosures when pumps are operating close to noise sensitive areas, like residential premises. Super T Series, Ultra V Series and PAH Series pumps can all be mounted into these enclosures, and can be supplied as portable skid or trailer mounted, or supplied for fixed installations [like permanent emergency sewage bypass pumps].

Enclosures are rated 70dB(A) as standard, but can be built to accommodate lower ratings where necessary. They can also be fitted with trickle chargers or solar panels to keep batteries charged and ready for action.

The EDUR PBU multiphase pump is a single-stage peripheral centrifugal pump with the unique capability of being able to pump a liquid/gas mixture. The centrifugal pump is constructed of stainless steel, so may be used to handle a variety of liquids. Air, Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide and Ozone gases can be introduced into the suction line and transported and used to mix or disperse the gases. The EDUR LBU multiphase pump is a multi-stage centrifugal pump with the unique capability of being able to pump a liquid/gas mixture. The centrifugal pump is constructed of either C.I./ Bz/ SS, Nodular Cast Iron, All-Bronze, Stainless Steel, or Super-Duplex Stainless-Steel construction, so may be used to handle a variety of liquids.

The Lampo emergency response trailer unit is designed to speed up and simplify the deployment of emergency response equipment for municipalities, emergency services and contractors.

Advantages include:

  • Enables deployment of multiple pieces of equipment, using only one vehicle.
  • Diesel-driven power generator complete with variable frequency drive [VFD] powers a lighting tower and a rugged and reliable Gorman-Rupp pump.
  • The cleverly designed unit can light up a work area while operators set up the self-priming pump or operate numerous electric tools from the power generator.
  • The VFD allows for soft starting electrical equipment, including the pump, and can vary the speeds of these machines to suit the duty at hand. While all this is happening, the compressor can be driving air nibblers, air-operated nail guns, wrenches or tyre inflators.
  • The Lampo units also come standard with an air compressor, discharge hose reel, suction hoses and a robust mounted toolbox.

The central components of the Lampo – the generator, VFD and lighting system are manufactured by quality equipment manufacturer, Euromacchine in Italy. They are housed in an acoustically rated enclosure constructed from powder-coated galvanised steel plates.

The Lampo emergency response unit are then mounted on an Australian heavy-duty built hot-dip galvanised double axle trailer and fitted with a self-priming Gorman-Rupp trash pump.

The EDUR Torque-Flow (FUB) range of centrifugal pumps have vortex impellers and are capable of handling spherical solids up to 80mm in diameter. EDUR self-priming centrifugal pumps can operate on suction lifts to 7.5 metres and can deliver pressures to 165m. They are able to transfer mildly contaminated water, cooling water, emulsions, oils, and fuels such as kerosine, petrol and diesel.

Emergency bypass auto-start sewage pump units are designed to operate when mains power is unavailable because of storms or other forces. They are available with flow rates from 3 l/s through to 250 l/s, are diesel powered and mounted in a vandal resistant acoustic enclosure.

They have a completely independent level control system and take over when the main pumps in the station are unable to pump due to power failure, control panel failure, pump failure or for any other reason.

The Gorman-Rupp Self Cleaning Sump (SCS) is a revolution in wastewater pump station wet well design. The SCS is an easy to install sloping collector pipe (fabricated from heavy duty HDPE) that is directly connected to the control manhole, and used in conjunction with Gorman-Rupp self priming sewage pumps.

The Self Cleaning Sump has been designed to replace the conventional cylindrical wet well and to remove the flaws associated with this current design. The negatives of the conventional design are considered to be the amount of intervention (number of personnel per call and the number of calls) required with these stations, the risks to operators associated with accessing the wet well for blockage removal and maintenance, and the longevity and reliability of equipment.

The aim of the SCS design is to:
