Gorman-Rupp engine driven pumps can be mounted into acoustically rated enclosures when pumps are operating close to noise sensitive areas, like residential premises. Super T Series, Ultra V Series and PAH Series pumps can all be mounted into these enclosures, and can be supplied as portable skid or trailer mounted, or supplied for fixed installations [like permanent emergency sewage bypass pumps].

Enclosures are rated 70dB(A) as standard, but can be built to accommodate lower ratings where necessary. They can also be fitted with trickle chargers or solar panels to keep batteries charged and ready for action.

Advantages include:

  • Ability to mount high and dry above the water (to 7.6m)
  • Environmentally friendly base [bunded to contain fuel or other fluid leaks]
  • Greatly reduced OH&S issues
  • Easy access for monitoring or service
  • Improved maintenance features to greatly reduce maintenance time and costs
  • A variety of materials of construction to handle abrasive and/or corrosive fluids
  • Any engine brand required by the customer
  • Choice of skid or trailer mounted configuration

Super T Series
Gorman-Rupp Super T Series pumps are self-priming [“wet prime”] pumps that can be mounted in acoustically rated enclosures – to be used as portable skid mounted units, fixed installations, or mounted on trailers for complete portability.

Although Hydro Innovations keep inventory of “standard” enclosures, bespoke units can be constructed to suit individual customer requirements.

Super T Series pumps are available in six hydraulic sizes from 2” through to 10”, with flows to 180 litres per second. They are also available in a variety of materials to cope with abrasive and/or corrosive fluids, and can be supplied with Gorman-Rupp’s enhanced solids handling technologies – Eradicator and Eradicator Plus.

Ultra V Series
Gorman-Rupp Ultra V Series pumps can also be mounted in acoustically rated enclosures, to be used as portable skid mounted units, for fixed installations, or mounted on trailers.
Ultra V Series pumps can produce higher pressures than most other solids handling “wet-prime” pumps. They can produce flows to 100 litres per second and heads to 50 metres.
They are available with a variety of materials and can also be supplied with Eradicator solids management technology.

Engine controls for these units [as well as Super T and PAH Series] have all of the usual engine management systems, including shut-down for high temperature or low oil pressure. They can also be supplied with features that can link to SCADA or remotely stop/start, run for specific lengths of time, stop and start on liquid level, or other customer specified requirements.

PAH Series
Gorman-Rupp PAH Series pumps feature a compressor/venturi priming system. They can also be used as portable or fixed installation service, and are ideal in applications requiring long suction lines, intermittent flows, large volumes of air in the liquid being pumped, or where “wet-prime” pumps can’t meet the hydraulic needs of an application.

PAH Series pumps are available in sizes ranging from 4” to 16” discharge. They can produce flows to 900 litres per second and heads to 155 metres. They are also available in several materials including complete CD4MCu in some models.

Trailers for these pumps as well as Super T and Ultra V Series are designed to suit site conditions, with decks, wheels, braking systems etc designed for specific customer requirements.
