Water Aerator Systems for Dams, Lagoons and Wastewater Treatment

Water Aerator Systems for Dams, Lagoons and Wastewater Treatment

Improve oxygen transfer, water movement and treatment performance with a safer, bank-mounted water aerator system.

Hydro Innovations supplies Gorman-Rupp EchoStorm water aerators for industrial, municipal and wastewater applications across Australia. Designed to be installed on the bank rather than floating on the water or submerged in it, EchoStorm makes water aeration safer, easier to access and simpler to maintain.

Whether you need to improve water quality in a dam, lagoon, basin, oxidation ditch or wastewater treatment system, our team can help configure a practical aeration solution around your site, water body and treatment goals.

A Smarter Way to Aerate Water

Many traditional water aerators are installed in or over the water. That can make routine servicing difficult, expensive and risky, especially when operators need boats, cranes or over-water access to reach equipment.

EchoStorm takes a different approach.

The aerator is mounted on the bank and used with a Gorman-Rupp self-priming centrifugal pump. Water is drawn from the dam, lagoon or treatment area, passed through the Gorman-Rupp EchoStorm Venturi aerator, mixed with air, and discharged back into the water body with increased dissolved oxygen.

The result is effective water aeration without making operators work over the water.

Why Choose a Bank-Mounted Water Aerator?

When Do You Need a Water Aerator?

A water aerator may be suitable if your site is dealing with poor water movement, low dissolved oxygen, odour, algae growth, stagnant water, poor biological treatment performance or difficult aerator maintenance.

In many cases, the issue is not simply that the site needs “more equipment”. It needs the right aeration method, correct pump pairing and a layout that operators can maintain safely over time.

That is where Hydro Innovations can help. Our team can review your site requirements and recommend an aerator and pump configuration suited to your water body, treatment goals and access constraints.

Common Water Aerator Applications

EchoStorm water aerators can be used for:

  • Dam and lagoon aeration
  • Wastewater aeration
  • Oxidation ditch aeration
  • Lake destratification
  • Algae control support
  • Odour reduction
  • Sludge digestion
  • Septage treatment
  • Leachate aeration
  • Mixing and equalisation
  • Mine water treatment
  • Industrial wastewater conditioning

EchoStorm Water Aerator: Built for Safer, Simpler Aeration

Gorman-Rupp’s EchoStorm is a bank-mounted Venturi water aerator designed to work with Gorman-Rupp self-priming pumps.

Instead of placing powered equipment directly in the water, the system keeps key equipment accessible from the bank. Water is pumped through the aerator, air is introduced through the Venturi process, and oxygenated water is discharged back into the dam, lagoon or basin.

This makes Gorman-Rupp’s EchoStorm a strong fit for sites that want effective aeration without the maintenance headaches of floating or submerged systems.

Key Benefits

  • No cranes or row boats required for routine maintenance
  • Bank-mounted access for safer servicing
